FAQ
Health Tourism in Turkey
Is Lifera Clinic a hospital?
No. Lifera Clinic is a medical tourism platform that connects international patients with accredited hospitals and expert doctors in Turkey. Treatments are performed at our partner hospitals.
How does the process start?
You reach us through the contact form or WhatsApp. Within 24 hours, our medical advisor responds; we review your existing reports (PET-CT, biopsy, MRI, etc.) and recommend the most suitable doctor.
What does it cost?
Varies by treatment type, stage, and hospital choice. Generally 40-60% more economical than Europe. After consultation, a transparent quote is provided — no hidden fees.
Is there help with visas?
Yes. Once your treatment plan is finalized, a 'medical invitation letter' issued by the hospital streamlines the medical tourism visa process. We prepare the documents needed for consular communication.
Is interpreter support available?
Yes. We have English, Russian, Arabic, and German interpreters. Hospital companion and 24/7 phone support are provided. Some of our doctors (such as Dr. Elena Volkov) speak Russian.
Where will I stay?
We have agreements with 3- and 4-star hotels near the hospital. Serviced apartment options are available for longer stays. Packages are offered based on your preferred level.
Am I at the most suitable stage for lung cancer treatment?
There are treatment options for every stage of lung cancer. Surgery is primary in early stages; immunotherapy and targeted therapies are central in advanced stages. Once you share your reports, our medical oncologist evaluates.
How long will I need to stay in Turkey?
Depends on treatment type. Surgery averages 10-14 days; chemotherapy cycles 3-5 days each; radiotherapy 4-6 weeks. Detailed plan is prepared after consultation.
How is payment made?
A deposit is paid after hospital approval; the remaining payment is made directly to the hospital before treatment. EUR, USD, or TRY are accepted. Credit card, bank transfer, or cash options available.
How is follow-up handled after I leave Turkey?
Monthly online video consultations in the first 3-6 months, then at 3-month intervals. Your local lab results are forwarded directly to your doctor. Return packages to Turkey are offered when in-person check-ups are needed.
